Suit diagram as featured in Volume 2
The Zero-Type Helmet System (零式ヘルメットシステム Reishiki herumetto shisutemu) is a technology used in desert suits to aid survival in the scorching Great Kanto Desert. It is most notably used in Desert Punk's suit and connects with a personal air conditioner to maintain a constant temperature as well as being able to filter urine and moisture collected from the exhaust pipes into drinkable water.
Description[]
The suit system covers the entire body and is completely airtight, so the suit can protect from the frigid cold at nighttime if the air conditioner breaks or the battery runs out, but during the day the suit will get hot during the day without its air conditioning. On top of the helmet, the wearer can also attach a snorkel for breathing and a scope with x20 magnification. The features in the diagram are as listed:
- Personal air conditioner; cold, heat, and de-heater
- Air conditioner intake nozzle

- Cranium air pool (Where pressure is adjusted)
- Intake nozzle (Sucks up dirty air inside the clothing)
- Cranium exhaust nozzle (The nozzle that sends out clean air to the inside of the helmet and clothing, cool during the day, warm at night.)

- Upper body ventilation nozzle
- Arm ventilation nozzle
- Lower body air pool
- Lower body ventilation nozzle
- Ultra-thin ventilation pipes (Interior of the gaiters)
- Desert shoes' independent exhaust valve (The air inside the shoes can't be reached with the intake nozzle, so the shoes have their own exhaust valves.)
